Artbeats – Custom Heartbeat Jewelry
Each custom piece is handcrafted from your unique heartbeat waveform and made specifically to your chosen material, finish, and size.
Because of this personalization, custom Artbeats jewelry is final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged for change of mind.
This exemption is required under EU/UK consumer law for goods made to a consumer’s specifications.
It is clearly disclosed at checkout, where you must confirm both consent statements before purchasing.
If your jewel arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, we will repair, remake, replace, or refund in line with your legal rights.
Please follow the steps below.
Charms – Non-Custom Items (14-Day Return Right)
Our standard charms (not attached to Artbeats pieces at the time of crafting) may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are:

Unused, or handled only as necessary to determine nature and characteristics

In their original packaging
-
In resalable condition
If handling goes beyond what is necessary (e.g., wear), we may deduct any loss in value from your refund, as permitted by EU consumer law.
Change-of-mind:
You may return the charm within 14 days.
If you choose to use our prepaid return label, the label cost will be deducted from your refund.
You may also use your own carrier.
Faulty, damaged, or not as described:
We cover the shipping cost and will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
Step-by-Step Return Process
1. Inform Us (RMA Request)
Email hello@artbeatjewels.com with:

Your order number

Photos, if relevant

A short explanation of the reason for return
We’ll confirm whether your case is:

A fault/damage issue (we cover shipping), or
-
A change-of-mind charm return (shipping cost deducted if you use our label)
We will then issue your RMA number and return instructions.
2. Prepare Your Parcel
You may:

Download the Return / Withdrawal Form below this text, and include it inside the parcel

Wait for us to email you a prepaid return label, or choose to use your own carrier.
Pack securely with:

All packaging
-
Any included components or freebies

3. Ship the Parcel

Attach the return label (if using ours) and drop off with the indicated carrier

If using your own carrier, please retain proof of posting
Outside EU/UK:
Mark the parcel clearly as:
“Returned Goods – no commercial value”
If customs duties/VAT are charged to us on a change-of-mind return, they may be deducted from your refund.
4. Inspection
We inspect returns within 3–5 business days of receipt at our workshop in Belgium.
We’ll contact you by email to confirm whether your refund, remake, or replacement has been approved.
5. Refund
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Timing:

Typically within 10 business days after inspection

For 14-day withdrawal returns, we refund within 14 days of being informed, but may wait until the goods are returned or proof of return is provided
Damage Reporting Guidance
Please check your parcel upon delivery.

If packaging appears damaged, photograph it before opening

If the item itself is damaged, contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 1 day, and no later than 2 days
Your statutory rights are not affected if you report later.
What’s Not Considered a Defect
Handcrafted jewelry naturally varies. The following are normal characteristics, not defects:

Minor polishing lines, tool marks, or micro-scratches visible only in strong light

Slight tone or color variations between batches

Natural oxidation or patina over time

Chain or clasp model variations of equivalent quality
